About the organizers
This event is organized by the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) Technical Commission V Working Group 5 (WG V/5), Philippine Space Agency, University of the Philippines Diliman, Universitas Gadjah Mada and European Space Agency.

The ISPRS WG V/5 aims to assess and promote the use of remote sensing, GIS and other geospatial technologies in various applications in the coastal marine environments including coastal watersheds, coral reefs, seagrass meadows and mangrove forests, and in support of the Blue Economy. WG V/5 will gather and work with various stakeholders (government, educational and research institutions, private organizations, civil service organizations and citizens) of the coastal and marine environments to know their needs and activities, which can be supported or enhanced with geospatial knowledge and skills. It also envisions a better understanding, appreciation and conservation of environment and natural resources by promoting exchange of knowledge and views and capacitating each other.
